I was in second grade when I decided to be a kindergarten teacher and, as I begin my 32nd year in kindergarten, I still can't think of ANY job I'd rather be doing! I grew up on a farm in Fort Ripley, MN and attended school in Brainerd. I graduated in 1987 from the College of St. Benedict and began teaching kindergarten at Pillager Elementary School in September of that year. I did my graduate work at St. Cloud State University. My husband, Mike, and I have two children, Michael and Jenna. When I'm not teaching kindergarten I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, playing guitar and singing.
